Powered by solar energy and equipped with laptops, tablets and robotics kits, the Mobile Computer Lab gives children access to practical technology education where they live and learn.
We are transforming a motorised tricycle into a fully functional mobile computer lab that delivers hands-on digital education directly to children and young people in Teshie.
Access to technology is not a privilege. It is a right.

This limits educational and future career opportunities for children and young people in Teshie and other underserved communities.

Goals
5,000 Digital Futures by 2030. We aim to reach at least 5,000 students from elementary to junior high school by 2030, providing access to computers, technology, and hands-on digital skills, with at least 50% being girls—helping bridge the digital divide and empower the next generation.

Roadmap
Phase 1: Pilot
2026
Deploy the Mobile Computer Lab in Teshie schools, train youth facilitators and evaluate the community impact.
Phase 2 onwards: Expansion
2026-2030
Gradually expand into other coastal and peri-urban communities across Greater Accra and beyond. Each phase will improve digital access, training quality and community engagement.

Access to Technology
By transforming a motorised tricycle into a mobile computer classroom, the project provides children access to technology and digital tools, enabling practical ICT training.
Digital Literacy
Offering structured lessons on computer use, internet safety and educational software fosters foundational skills necessary for academic success.
Engagement and Retention
Interactive learning sessions and workshops make education engaging, reducing dropout rates and encouraging students to remain in school.
Homework Support
Weekend homework support sessions help children keep up with schoolwork, even with limited resources at home.
Goal: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

With a target of reaching 50% female participation, the project addresses gender disparity in technology education.

In August 2026, EmpoComm Gh trained our team in STEAM and Robotics with Xonovate Code Champions — building the capacity to launch school clubs and inspire children to create with technology.

Since launching in March 2026, our Mobile Computer Lab has partnered with six schools in Teshie and reached approximately 650 students with hands-on digital learning.
