About the programme
Tech 4 Development
Tech 4 Development leverages technology as a catalyst for sustainable community and economic development in Teshie and beyond.
In today’s world, digital access and literacy are essential tools for growth, equality and innovation. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by ensuring that every child and community has access to the tools, skills and opportunities needed to thrive in the digital age.
Through this programme we bring computers, hands-on digital skills and STEAM learning directly into schools and neighbourhoods—so technology becomes a bridge to opportunity, equality and progress.
Technology can create access to education, information and economic opportunity. Through Tech 4 Development, Empower Communities Ghana works with communities to make practical technology education and digital resources more accessible.

Bringing Technology to the Classroom: Our Mobile Computer Lab Reaches 650+ Students
Since launching in March 2026, our Mobile Computer Lab has partnered with six schools in Teshie and reached approximately 650 students with hands-on digital learning.
